All objectives were achieved for the year, namely, the profile of the Society was increased and there was more publicity and articles about veganism in different places.
Editors’ Report:
- Flyers designed, produced & distributed
- Advertising in SAFE magazine negotiated
- Increase in paid advertising in VEGANZ
- 4 successful issues with increase in content & contributors

New Business
1. To continue with the publicity campaign
2. To be aware of and prepared for general media attention on potentially bad news vegan stories, to counter with positive vegan stories
3. To contact 'famous' vegans
4. Through the magazine to encourage more links with vegan-friendly NZ groups
5. To have more animal rights stories in the magazine
6. To help grow next years Vegetarian (and Vegan) Film Festival
7. Work towards producing a "Go Vegan because it's cool" type pamphlet, possibly in association with other groups
8. Consider producing a "Vegan Guide to NZ", with advertising
