Dunedin Vegan Get Together

Around a dozen Dunedin vegans tested out the new Circadian Rhythm Cafe in February and were pleased with the range of vegan goodies on hand (the vegan owners had done an all vegan range of offerings for us!).

As with previous occasions - most were attending their first get together - leading us to believe that there are more "out there" than we first thought!
Lively conversation about all things vegan occupied our time from 1pm until well after 3pm. Even the huge Thieves Alley Market outside couldn't lure us away.
We decided to have another get together in a few months to say good bye to Sandi who is moving Northwards.

Dunedin Vegan Get Together

About 18 vegans got together for hot drinks and vegan pizza at ARC Cafe in Dunedin on Sat 16th July.

The 3 vegan children were joined by 15 adults who admitted to being vegan or interested in being vegan. As always, it was an interesting mix of people who, as they admitted, probably would never have guessed each other vegan to look at and would certainly never have mixed in usual company.

Everyone was keen to get together again, perhaps for a pot luck dinner. Given that several people had contacted us to say they couldn't make this get together but wanted to know about the next one - I can say for sure that we'll be organising more vegan meet ups.
